KC Healthy Kids

We launched a social media campaign for KC Healthy Kids that significantly increased reach and engagement for the organization, raising awareness of their $1M gift, their annual event and the impact they have on the community.

Client: KC Healthy Kids is a 501(c) nonprofit dedicated to addressing the physical and mental health challenges impacting children in the Greater Kansas City area through youth advocacy, food policy, local food initiatives, mental health support and more.

Challenge: KC Healthy Kids was awarded a $1 million gift from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott through her charitable organization, Yield Giving. While KC Healthy Kids looked to celebrate the grant, they also wanted to leverage the momentum as a way to garner awareness for the organization, highlight their impact on the community and promote their upcoming Eat Local & Organic Expo.

Ask: Celebrate their $1M gift, spark interest around the Expo, raise brand awareness for the organization and outline a social media strategy for KC Healthy Kids moving forward.

Services: Social media playbook, ongoing content strategy and social media campaign development
